The LEGENDARY Harry Thuku Rd tree

To I, this tree is legendary. If it were possible, I would award it a plants’ resilience award.
Though I neither know its conventional nor botanical names, i have observed the tree (it appears exotic to me) over the last few years.
… The tree has surely weathered environmental vagaries including drought but especially exploitation by a shiny, light-green & leafless, soft and thin stem kind of climbing parasitic plant that is known as  ‘Thina’ in Gigikuyu language..( ‘Thina’ means a troublesome thing or rather ‘poverty’ to the Agikuyu people).
As can be seen in this most recent image (captured on 30-09-2026), most of the tree’s trunk and branches almost died (due to the vagaries) and seem decayed and infested with termites and accompanying soil yet fresh, tender stems and leaves are sprouting at its upper branches.
In reflections, I find it indeed amazing that the tree can appear almost dead and decaying yet alive and thriving in some of its body parts.
This phenomenon is contrasted to the situation in animals’, including human beings, life or bodies.. .
When animals body parts get seriously injured from accidents trauma or infected with diseases, sometimes the body parts can not be possibly healed or reconstructed and thus have to be removed or amputated….
Essentially, decayed or rather dead animals’ body  parts can not live in healthy bodies since they poison the other healthy, living parts and hence the need for the removal or amputation.🤔🤔.
Indeed, wonders of God almighty and His nature perennially stupefy and amaze the normal human mind. 🤔😊.
