Why needless prejudice, biases & blame games should not breed animosity, hate and needless rivalry
Destiny is an amazing reality. Each one of us never chooses to be born in their homes or family & communities, countries or ethnic groups. Despite being alive at birth, all of us are helpless and reliant on others to live and grow up to the extent where we become alert to our environments and even start ‘living’ fully responding to the environment through asking questions, complaining or even running away from danger and also appreciating both the good and evil in our midst.
Our ancestors, grandparents and parents never chose to be born in yesteryears and among their families and communities and in different countries and continents.
All of them found, when they gained the power to observe and remember their experiences, just found themselves where they were at and were socialized to live like the people they found there and their peers.
All the children born to these people and those yet to be born have no choice either. They will live and live and in case they choose to emigrate to other countries they will just have to adjust to the environments they shall move to.
Essentially therefore, no human being has a right to boast of being from a particular community, family or country or continent.
No human being either has a right to boast for being born at the particular time they were born. Essentially therefore, each generation of people has a right to live.
The current classification of people or generations based on when they found themselves or will in future find themselves on our earth, should not be a basis for needless boasting or disdain for each other or each generation.
The bravado being shown by different generations against others is needless and vain and the blame games are uncalled for.
The old people born in the 1940s & 50s, for instance, should not be disdained or be mocked or be laughing stock of the other generations that consider themselves modern or sophisticated..
Those people just found themselves alive at that time and were shaped by their environments and circumstances in just the same way those born later were moulded or those who will be born will be equally moulded by their future environment and situations.. .. They just found themselves there in as much way as those born in later years did.
So my contention and view is the apparent & simmering battles of different generations is needless uncalled and just breeds needless animosity and competition.
My contention is that all people and generations including baby boomers, gen z, gen x, millennials and Gen alpha among others are all equal before God the creator and our mother earth and Creation.
The earth considers all of them equal the only difference being the favour or disfavor of the times or moments in history when mother earth choose that they be born.
Each person is wonderfully and fearfully created the time or moment of creation not withstanding. Each child of God and mother earth must stand and walk tall in the pride of being born and being alive.
Each must strive and endeavor to live fully and meaningfully exploiting the God given resources as ably as possible and also striving to embrace new technology and new ways of life including sustainable living
