Co-op Bank’s commitment to environmental conservation

On June 5th, 2026 (the World Environment Day), Co-op Bank joined the Kakamega Forest Heritage Foundation, Kenya Forest Service (KFS), community members and other stakeholders in a tree planting exercise aimed at restoring and rehabilitating Kenya’s only tropical rainforest.

This initiative highlighted the Bank’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation and climate resilience through its long-term partnership with the Kakamega Forest Heritage Foundation.
