Being judgmental & our human foibles, weaknesses /nature

From my short human experience, I can dare claim that people often get judgemental due to several factors including being ignorant, lacking experience & some people’s inexplicable inclination to always offer opinion even when such is unwarranted and unnecessary and even wrong & misleading….
For instance, until my right ear started having ringing sounds and later became hard of hearing and I had to seek advice at Lions Sight First eye hospital– ear section – – where I was told, after examinations, that wax had accumulated in the way to the ear drum and thus blocked hearing ability, my first encounter with ear wax commenced.
Courtesy of my ignorance, i had never heard that Ear wax has right of way from the ear drum and out into our general environment.
So, every time that I showered, I would meticulously ‘clean’ my ears by using my showering cloth or implement to wipe the outer ear canal and somehow press towards the ear drum little knowing that I was pressing back my ear wax towards the ear drum this leading to much accumulation and hardening of the wax.
It is the hardened & accumulated wax that was interfering with my hearing and causing the ringing sound.
Indeed, the ear doctor sprayed hydrogen peroxide into my ears (to soften the wax–i was told) & after some few minutes started forcing out the wax in a rather uncomfortable process.
Later, the doctor laid the detached, removed wax on a piece of gauze bandage and showed the same to me as he gave me a brief tutorial on how to henceforth take care of my ears…..
“Don’t ever interfere with your ears thinking that you’re cleaning them.. …. Ears self clean and you must avoid touching the ear canal with anything.. Let the wax flow out and just softly wipe it out at the opening end of the ear canal in the ear robe,” the elderly friendly male doctor told me.
The removed waxes appeared like  pieces of groundnuts, shiny and a bit hard which explained why their removal especially on my right ear had felt a bit uncomfortable.
He told me that the bit bigger wax had been extracted from my right ear which explainably had the most ringing sound and was hard of hearing. Fortunately, he had warned me that it would be rather uncomfortable removing it ……..
And so when I recently traveled to my destination off Ngong rd and felt like something had entered my left ear immediately I lighted from the PSV, i got surprised.
I touched my ear canal to check what could have crawled into it only to touch a soft ball of wax that was on its way out. I used my index finger to softly hold and remove it and threw it to the ground and cleaned my finger.
At last I had done the last session of the practical lessons in or of cleaning my ears. I started wondering when the right ear wax would also ‘crawl’ out.
…..in later reflections, I imagined that my neighbor in the PSV may have noticed the wax and wondered how an adult man neat, smart and confident could have forgetten to clean his ears.
Before I had gotten to interact  with the ringing in my ear, I had seen people especially children with wax seeming to stream out out of their ears. The children were neat and well groomed and in my judgemental nature had wondered in my thoughts, ‘how could a parent put all the efforts to groom such children and then forget to clean their ears.’
Little  could i tell that the children had had their ears  cleaned well as recommended by ear specialists and that the wax could just, all of a sudden, have exercised its right to ooze our without notice like had happened in my case that memorable morning.
I can also dare claim that human beings tendency to be judgemental with regards to others could also result from the reality of their (humans) differences in physical, intellectual, emotional & even thought statuses or processes.
Sadly, we often tend to judge those who look or appear different from us. We judge even those who appear to think differently or those who react differently when we face (with them) similar or the same ‘stimuluses’ or life triggers & circumstances.
The most obvious circumstances, for instance, is when we look different. Someone battling bodily physical challenges such as deformity or different skin color such as vitiligo attract lots of judgements….
Arising from ignorance, for instance, people battling the challenges of vitiligo are variously judged – – “that one is cursed,” “her parents didn’t pay, the right dowry, ” “her grandfather abused his father and didn’t repent,” et al….
Even illnesses that could be explained medically or other life situations & circumstances that defy logic or normal reasoning ability end up judged mostly in weird reasoning or explanations….
People who appear to live differently due to personal preferences or other inexplicable circumstances also often get judged and even ridiculed….
Apparently, many human beings want to belong to some social or thoughts groups.. It is like they prefer coupling or grouping with their like- minded friends or colleagues and even pulling others, by force, to their groups and thoughts processes. And, and woe to the independent minded persons for they too get judged or even punished through fabricated stories or being ostracized.
The human being’s high propensity to comment of any and all life situations, contrary to God’s teaching warning about the high possibility of sin in multitudes of words and mostly unnecessary words, also leads to unnecessary judgements or wrong hypothesis for many life situations and circumstances…..
Such situations and circumstances in life therefore give credence to the popular English saying, “that nothing is as unjust and as capricious as public opinion.” 🤔🤔😊
