Stoicism needed as an extra life skill?

Perhaps like never before ( I am making this claim because i am living in the now and never lived during ‘the days’ of our parents and forefathers), people today need much more inner strength and strong conviction to live.
What with life moving so fast and in a state of interconnectedness courtesy of social media? Where peer groups pressure on these media seems to rule just like Adolf Hitler of old did..
And where information overflow tends to not only overwhelm us but also to steal our ability to relax and even pose to reflect and take account of issues and when things are happening so fast.
And where true joy and real satisfaction from living appears too much elusive and like a mirage that moves farther ahead when we eventually reach where the mirage initially appeared to rest awaiting us.
What with pressure from our own selves when we compare ourselves with our contemporaries and feel like we have not done so well in life?
And where succor from religion also seems distant when one interacts with some spiritual leaders who seem out of touch with real issues in life and Who God almighty really is and what He teaches. (This, my claim, is subjective and more likely attract a backlash since I am also in the journey of life and trying to discover who God almighty really is).
And where also succor from family and friends is also elusive seeing that most of us are also trying to pull all the good in life towards ourselves and perhaps ‘rightly’ so ‘because this is human nature’ and given that we give spiritual instructions (from the Holy Writ including the Holy Bible) a wide berth when the books instructs us on how to live just Jesus Christ, for instance, lived….
In our current age, perhaps mindfulness and life mental & physical survival & coping skills should perhaps be included in what ought to be ‘everyday life’ & ‘everyday living’ curriculum…
… But then who really drafts the ‘living Curriculum’ except God almighty Himself and if ignore His teachings, are we really going to cope and survive?
But seeing the reality in place, perhaps all believers need to cry and plead to God almighty to review and update ‘effective & sustainable Living Curriculum’ urgently…
And in our mortal sense where we keep reviewing our education curriculum every other time, perhaps need now arises for regular reviews and updates of everyday living and life skills…
Despite the fact that living has always been seen as a natural, innate process, the recent challenges and fundamental (also described as ‘unprecedented’) changes seem to be crying for intentional living where people ‘live’ purposely and especially given that normal schooling /education does not seem to be sharpening people more effectively for fuller and even better, rather the best living that is possibly possible.. .
Just a thought 😊
