Mediation as an alternative route for lawyers
Wakili Kinuthia Fanya Mambo is a lawyer who opted to practice in mediation & alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
He innovatively realized that millions of people in the country have had cases pending in our courts for years. He is a court – accredited mediation /mediator lawyer and his brief expose on mediation and ADR has inspired me.
Born and brought up in Dagoretti South, lawyer Mr Kinuthia is/was on Kimuri, inooro TV, (Tuesday Jan 21st 2025 – – 9am to 11am)
He sounds like a very good voice of reason. He argues very well and convincingly and is evidently a very brilliant mind. Keep it up Sir.
If you make it to Parliament may God almighty protect you from the forces that apparently remove reasoning capacity from people.
With Fanya Mambo in the inooro TV studios is/was lawyer & political analyst Mr Macharia Njeru, who vied for a constituency seat in Nyandarua – Kipiriri around 2007. He was born in Nyeri. Later his parents shifted to Nyandarua and he also lived in Nandi area for several years as a youngster gathering diverse life experiences.
He still admires and nostalgically recalls the good leadership of leaders such Hon Kuguru Ngibuini who helped the cooperatives and societies and Saccos grow in the area.
During the time no children were chased from school for school fees unlike today, when education is claimed to be free yet lots of children are chased away for not affording to pay fees.
In Nyeri, parents enjoyed loan facilities to pay school fees with the loans later getting deducted from tea, milk and coffee payments.
Lawyer Njeru has worked at IPOA and has represented lawyers at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) for about five years. Essentially, he has practiced law for 34 years. When he graduated from university and law school, he had three job opportunities options awaiting him unlike today when thousands of young people have remained jobless for years after leaving school and colleges /universities.
Mr Njeru also sounds like a very brilliant gentleman and a very good voice of reason.
